6/11 "ReWedding" set for August 28; All are welcome

Chuck and I are different people today than we were before his injury. We have decided to marry each other again in our new incarnations. Our first ceremony was a civil one with a Kentucky Justice of the Peace (in a Hawaiian shirt). The witnesses were a one-toothed homeless guy named Joe and a barmaid from around the corner.

Our new selves plan to take Christian vows in our gorgeous church, Goodyear Heights Presbyterian, 1430 Goodyear Blvd. Akron, OH. We're going to do it during the actual church service (as they used to do 75 years ago) at 9 a.m.

We warmly invite anyone who feels like this is a cool thing and would really like to be there. This includes people we don't know personally but who have followed our story. In many ways, it is in Akron we have become "The Sandstroms."

We have been known, loved and supported here and so we'd like to extend the invitation to anyone to whom our story matters.

There will be an informal celebration of some sort after. Bring along a dish or a bag of chips if you wish.

Blessings and Peace,
Auburn
