So Lena, the warm, beautiful RN with music in her voice and love in her heart was singing something corny to Chuck. He cocked his head, turned to her and smiled from ear to ear, dimples and all! I shouted for happiness. He held the smile for at least a full minute. That's Chuck!
Lena has aides doing 1/2 hour sitting duty with Chuck so I could come home and sleep for a few hours. Off to bed. Shelley is coming for 5 days (thank goodness) and my neighbor will sit with Chuck for several hours tomorrow. Those who can help in this phase need to be able to get right in there. He's strong and very active right now.
