We continue to share a great deal of love, fun and laughter along with hard work.
I don't think either of us are putting a lot of stock in the Doc's forecast of inevitable depression once we get home. Too much to do and be engaged with, not to mention we're just starting our married life together in the same house.
We won't miss people rapping at our bedroom door at every inconvenient hour to take blood pressure, run water through a feeding tube, ask invasive questions about daily intake and output and addressing Chuck in that friendly, haranguing tone people use with the infirm, retarded or very young.
I know we'll have a lot to sort out as different realities unfold, but we have a lot of love and support and, down the road, many people to help.
