10/1 Calling all drivers, calling all golfers

We now have a pretty good schedule of outpatient therapy lined up at Cuyahoga Falls Hospital and need volunteer drivers to take Chuck to and from appointments. They tend to be early in the afternoon and can last from 1-3 hours.

Also need golfing friends to go with Chuck to Challenge Golf Range: the first handicapped golf course in the country, we're told. We have a volunteer friend named Lindsay up there 8:30-4:00 who can help orient you to the course. Chuck is genuinely gunning to get out there. Nobody had to re-teach him his stance or how to hold the club. Stooping down to pick up balls, his balance was perfect.

Here's a completely unrelated story that made my day: a teaching colleague of mine from Vanlue dressed up as me for Superhero Day. Evidently she wore a flowy skirt and glasses. (She didn't tell me if she threw huge fits everytime a kid said "Yesterday, I seen the game." Nice to be appreciated and remembered.)
