Sherie Sanchez invited Chuck to do the ground-breaking for Manor Care's new physical therapy gymnasium tomorrow evening at their open-house event (4-6pm). Chuck received aggressive occupational and physical therapies at Manor Care while he was still barely emergent from his coma. He had a particularly strong bond with Donna and Steve and was a favorite of many of the nurses and aides.
Manor Care was the first place he ever stood, raised an arm, spoke a word or took a step. It was where his humorous and affectionate nature first re-emerged.
We'll be there together tomorrow to turn the first spadeful of dirt on the new, improved physical therapy facility.
