Opening Eyes on Command/Thankful for Barberton folks

Two different professionals today asked Chuck to open his eyes wide and he did so. This is excellent. I am in his room sitting quietly with him while the physical therapist works with him. There is a possibility that Chuck might be moved to a different SubAcute facility while we await his full return to consciousness. There is some chance he'll go to an excellent facility in Barberton where his good friend from Kiwanis, Sheri Sanchez, will oversee the best and most aggressive treatment pending his readiness for rehab.

Larry Lallo from Barberton CDC dropped by today and offered prayer. Chuck opened his eyes for this also.

Through Larry, Eberhardt landscaping has been taking care of our lawn maintenance every week. Through Elizabeth Wilson and many others, Barberton morning Kiwanis organized a food drop off that kept us going for two weeks until we could find our bearings. Mayor Genet has been there for us every step of the way, even running an errand to Wal-Mart to get me a GPS.

We appreciate your prayers, your support and your persistence in seeing and believing in all Chuck is and will continue to be with time and healing.

More later today.
