Came by the house to give Chuck a computer lesson. We were at it for an hour and found out that if you didn't know how to touch type before a brain injury....you don't know how after either! Chuck hunt and pecked away. In the beginning he was one key off, but after a while he was zeroing in on the target.
He wrote a sentence in Word, with liberal use of the backspace key, but worked mostly in hand-eye co-ordination (eye mouse? eye pointer?) We began a game of spider solitaire, cleared a minefield safely in just under 10 minutes and built and shipped a cake successfully.
Next week. Back into the minefield and maybe some more games. Suggestions welcome!
